The first two weeks

I have been here now for two weeks, and things are going fine. Everybody here is super sweet to us, sometimes I even wonder why, considering that I haven't done a lot yet. When Paul said yesterday that he was hungry a lot of the time, Vija even came over to the apartment in order to cook with us. Also the other guys who work at or attend JACis are very nice, they try their very best to interact with us and are very warm and welcoming. I hope I can start to give something back by organizing workshops and activities. But it's not only the people who are amazing here, it is also the city, which, has quite something to offer for me as a person interested in history. You can find many types of architecture here, from the futuristic 'Gors'-Center, over the stylish apartment-blocks and a massive cathedral to the remains of a medieval castle. I hope I can see every last corner of this vibrant place. Thanks for having me, Moritz
