Amateur dance-theater, intercultural meetings, more Kubb (5th-8th of May)

We had to attend many events lately and had to host some more ourselves. When there is so much going on, it is hard to describe how amazing these things really are.

We started off with a some great dancing exercise on Tuesday. It is our continued endeavor to perfect the "Dance of the bread" in order to be able to present it on the 23rd of May in Joriks. Added to the performance were the section in which the wheat is grounded to flour, the dough is kneaded and then let to rest and, of utmost importance, the actual process of baking the loaf of bread.

Wednesday was a day filled with fun, as the afternoon was taken up by the second part of Georgianas' intercultural training, exercises included the moral analysis of a short story, an experiment in verbal and non-verbal communications and a peculiar activity involving teamwork. Many people participated in the training and it was a lot of fun. The results were also incredible interesting, from the way a lingua franca enables us to co-operate in an unimaginable extent to the idea of how little (or how much) your background factors into your moral views.

Later on, we had a special task to fulfill: Prepare a meeting for the participants of an exchange program in Zeimuls. We made up several funny activities among others drawing a map to hidden chocolate, and had a lot of fun all evening. The participants were from Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Turkey

Our Thursday was spent planning the summertime events; with the long summer holidays on the horizon, we have to see how a changed schedule for the participants of JACis has to be reflected by our schedule changing. We can not tell you evertything yet, but there are definitely some surprises incoming, combined with the things you already know off, like the soccer tournament on the first of June.

Friday concluded the week with our official presentation of the Kubb game. We played with big teams of four people and it was incredibly enjoyable. Afterwards, we made popcorn and watched a movie.
