Planification for the summer (11-17th of May)

In this week the volunteers were doing a lot of stuff!

Paul was finally meeting the football coach that will help him to make his tournament become reality and now he should get started with inviting people! He also went to some Shops to ask for sponsored prizes for the winners.

On Wednesday we cooked very tasty pizza with many youngsters who enjoyed cooking and especially the eating part. 

Afterwards we were watching Clemence’s finished movie that was shown in France already! The final cutis very good and everyone was happy to be a part of this nice project.

In the evening there was a goodbye party for Max, a German Erasmus-student who went back home the next day. It was really nice but it’s also a little bit sad to say goodbye to volunteers and other internationals.

Thursday the volunteers had an important meeting about the seminar that will take place end of June at Raznas Lake. They had a lot of nice ideas and are looking forward to prepare fun activities for the seminar. 

Georgiana was asked to prepare a presentation about Orthodox church in Romania. She worked hard in order to find interesting information about this topic. On Sunday she went to Sunday school to present to the kids and youth a small part of this special Romanian heritage.

On Friday, we participated in an event at Zeimuls. There was a big  family festival, attracting a lot of parents and their children. Our JACis team showed them our new favourite outdoor game Kubb, which Karina explained very professionally. Moritz prepared some dough and we had a small fire where we baked bread for the people passing by, who really liked it. It was very nice weather and a lot of fun.

On the weekend it was the museum night in Rezekne. we went to see Tamara who played with her band for the opening and afterwards we visited the museum.
